Professor Peter Hosemann Receives Pioneering US-UK Breakthrough Award from UKRI

Professor Hosemann receives the Pioneering US-UK Breakthrough Award from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) at the UK Embassy for the project “Training the Next Generation of Nuclear Scientists Across the Atlantic”.

This award is shared with Professor David Armstrong, Chris Grovenor at the University of Oxford, Brenden Heidrich at the INL NSUF and enabled by key contributions from General Atomics Christian Deck, (SiC/SiC fabrication innovation)

A great example of how US-UK partnerships can accelerate nuclear materials innovation while training the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Award was provided to Professor Hosemann by deputy ambassador of the UK to the US James Paul Roscoe.
