NSSC awarded $25M renewal grant!

The Nuclear Science and Security Consortium (NSSC) was awarded a $25M, 5-year grant from the National Nuclear Security Administration to engage in research and development in collaboration with US DOE National Laboratories while training the next generation of nuclear experts. This is the fourth time a UC Berkeley-led consortium has been awarded. The NSSC4 is seated within the Department of Nuclear Engineering at UC Berkeley under the direction of Prof. Bethany Goldblum. Additional consortium members include the Air Force Institute of Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Michigan State University, North Carolina State University, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of Tennessee Knoxville, and the University of Washington.
